Ticket Target?

Has anyone else been tailgated by police or issued a ticket because they thought you were speeding (for example, you're in a pack of cars and you get the ticket while no one else gets one, especially if your cruise control is set on the speed limit)?

been tailed by the poe poe a few times but never gotten a ticket. I haven't even been pulled over in the camaro yet. But I got one of the bird dogs that beeps to remind me to keep it slow.

I guess I am lucky because the cops around here just whiz by me. They do give my Luci a looksy though!

Cop car was in front of us, and gets behind us JUST to give us a tint ticket...

Funny thing is, half the cars out here have illegal tints and never get stopped for them. Our other car has had tints for years and we've NEVER had a problem.

Felt like he was just going after us because we had a new camaro...talk about lame...

Got tailgated once by a state cop,kept tapping my brakes untill he got tired of the game and passed me,giving me the "evil eye" when he passed !!!!

Wow that's pretty lame.. Do you know if you can get a ticket in CA for having blacked out tail lights?

I have yet to be tailgated by a cop, hope it doesn't happen anytime soon.

ive been tailgated a few times, no tickets due to that, also been stoped multiple times in gas stations and anytime my care is parked and im outside of it just to talk to me about the camaro, and most are driving a charger police car or talk about nice cars that they own.

I have been followed home multiple times I will see them behind me and keep it 1 or 2 miles under the limit what they thinking I see you I'm not going to do anything wrong with you behind me

No and no , the problem is the cops have a book with all the cars models and they go around given tickets to every one model on the book ,then they have this kind of party and show each other the ones [new] on the file , and that's all there is to it !!!:m ad0259:

Once. Got a speeding ticket for 88 on the interstate, which I find ridiculous as for one I can see my speed in my windshield via HUD with cruise on 74 and second there was a pack of 15 or so cars with me and a beige Altima flying by me when the trooper clocked "me".

Also got pulled over because a cop hadn't seen my color combination around town and he liked it. That kinda pissed me off, but I was relieved I didn't get a ticket...

Our Camaro is a little on the loud side and we've had a few black and whites take notice. Haven't been pulled over yet. Just keep an eye on the speedometer and don't give them a reason. I had a yellow vette a few years back and a cop pulled me over for some bogus lane change "violation." He let me off with a warning. I'd rather him say he just wanted to see the car. Probably a Mustang guy

I haven't been tailed or pulled over in the Camaro yet, but I just recently got my headers and exhaust so I expect that to change lol.

Once in my '95 Camaro I was in the middle of a line of about 7-8 cars. We were all going a little over the speed limit, 70 in a 65. At a highway exchange the speed limit dropped to 60 and we all continued on at the same pace. An officer was trailing behind us and passed up 1, 2, 3, 4 cars and squeezed in behind me and pulled me over. Despite my pleas I got a ticket. I accepted it because I was going 10 over but I told him afterwards that it was pretty shitty that he decided to single me out of the middle of the pack of cars. Oh well, such is life with cars like these.
