There's Something About a Camaro
Just recently relocated from Atlanta to the small town of St Simons Island, GA about five hours south. We moved down about 6 weeks ago, but having two SUVs and the Camaro it didn't make the initial cut in the move. I've been driving our new 2015 Tahoe to and from work since the move without any attention at all from my coworkers. We closed on our house yesterday, so the Camaro got to come out of the garage and back to the island with me last night. I pull up to work this morning at the office and of course everyone I work with has to come look at the hotrod when I pull up. It's crazy how much attention these cars get!

Yes, the 5th Gen is a sweet looking car!! Am I the only one who watched the first Transformers movie after they picked up their car? I got mine last Thursday and that night I had to watch it.

So to say you watched it just the other day would make you pretty late to the party, regardless of what kind of car we drive. |

Couldn't expect anything less. I absolutely love the Tahoe too though. We went to buy a leftover 2014 model and drove the 2015 as a comparison. There is a night and day difference between the two. They just happened to have two exactly like we had built them online the night before, so at supplier pricing we took it home the next day. It's the Mrs. daily driver, so she gets to enjoy it more than I do! I wish that the white diamond tricoat was an option on the Camaro, I might have chosen it over the black and orange. With it also being a Cadillac color, maybe we'll see it on the 6th gen. Here's the Tahoe the day we picked it up:

An executive from corporate parked his Range Rover next to my Victory red LS and had to find out who had the hot rod. The 5th gens just draw attention.

This has nothing to do with the thread, but just had to say I was excited to see the mention of St. Simons Island. I lived there a long time ago when my father was stationed at NAS Glynco. I've often wondered what the place looks like now. As I recall, we lived about a block or two from the beach.

it is so true the car brings a lot of attention, and about a month ago I added the White Stripes to the Inferno orange metallic and the looks and comments have doubled, work hard to get this Camaro and enjoying every minute of it.
