Yea, Mopar has drawn a price tag for sure lately. Everyone wants 68-70 Chargers.

Just walk away from it, now. This guy is going to be unrealistic.
The only other thing I would try, is start pointing out the flaws and justifying your price offer to him. |

Love the '68 Chargers myself, but the Mopar guys I talk to always pay a premium for parts far above chevy and ford...I would think hard about restoring a non r/t car, though...
Saw a beautiful restored 68 charger r/t at a show...383, excellent condition....he wanted 65K....I'd get some sort of ball-park on what you need to put into it to restore it...then a few thou one way or the other for buying this one, probably won't seem like much...good luck. |
