Turbo question

Can i do American racing long tube headers and do a twin turbo set up or will it not fit, or can i custom fit the pipes?

I am pretty sure with the turbo you need shorties, correct me if I'm wrong.

Technically, anything should work... however, if you have the LT headers, the only problem i see is clearance. Otherwise, you should be able to re-route piping and make anything work.

Yes, currently both TT setups are made to bolt on the stock manifolds. So you are correct.

You can run a remote turbo set up if you are using LT's. Shorties are preferred for the turbo set-up or a custom turbo maifold. Let me know if you need more info, we did a twin turbo set up on a V6 with custom maifolds.

If you ran long tubes the turbos would be hanging down pretty low and will also need a scavenger pump to return the oil from the pump. Let us now if you need any turbos or parts or even install we can help you with all of it. Also if you do it your self give me a call if you get stuck I'll help you out and walk you threw it

Who's we?

Because I assumed till now I could not add it to my setup. I have the ARH LTs, x-pipe and MRT 2.0 mufflers. Also none of the stock pipes exist anymore.

Generally speaking, the further away from the engine you go the more turbo lag you will get. So a long tube might have some turbo lag compared to a shorty or turbo manfold. New turbos spool up so fast thats not usually an issue. However, remote turbo systems will loose some boost with the extreme piping needed to get back to the engine.

We= GMAddiction- Built a V6 Camaro for SEMA last year.

Custom turbo manifold built, not using LT's at all. Don't recommend LT's for a turbo setup, however there is always Nitrous!!!

Which SEMA tt you referring to??

If it was the "brown" colored Camaro I think you're right.

The GM Addiction car was silver and displayed at the American Eagle Wheels booth and it was working.
