Makes you all a little crazy...
I didn't realize how that looked, but now that you mention it, how many have started with a CAI for a few HP, and ended up going off the deep end (Like Robert) and go for the big numbers!

... Bruce, you fell off the deep end when you were a child, me-thinks

Ha, ha if you only knew. I was the youngest of 4 kids. An older sister and two older brothers. Some of the childhood test pilot events:

1) Put in a clothes hamper that was a "spaceship" and sent down the stairs. (Multiple times)

2) Told to climb up to the top of the tree - and then they cut it down !

3) When the sledding hill (on a mountain, in the woods with big boulders at the bottom) was too icy, they would stick me on a sled or toboggan. If I made it they would go. If I crashed, they'd put ice on the fat lip or bloody nose and go do something else...

Wow, you sound like me...

My mom says I had a standing apointment in the emergency room closest to where ever we lived...

Being an Air Force brat, we were given our military records to carry to my dads next assignment. Upon arrival, we went to the hospital and turned them over to that facility...

Five of them were about 2 inches thick, TOTAL, and then there was mine... Mom, Dad, two older brothers, and a younger sister...had a combined five folders... binders, whatever you want to call them... by the time I was 12, I had five of them to myself... each about two inches thick... oh the stories my parents could tell about me growing up... I figured they would name a military hospital after me some day... or a research center, 1,000,000 ways to cause your self to need to go to the emergency room... When I lived in the Phillipines, I made three trips in one day... stitches twice, thumb, and then my forehead the second time, and a severly sprained ankle the third time... I probably could have made it four times but I couldn't walk and my mom restricted me to the couch...

The difference between you and me was it sounds like your siblings did it to you, I did most of it to myself, not all of it, but most...

8 kids here, 5 older brothers.... I didn't have a chance getting out un-scathed.

... Remember the scene in Grown Up's where they shoot an arrow straight up and whoever runs away last wins?

We used darts, I won with a dart stuck in my shoulder... Retired undefeated. (especially after MOM found out)

Hey Bro,

Yes it was good meeting you, and fun even if for only a few seconds... 70-120 or so...I still laugh thinking about you climbing out of that "car" with the LSx shootout attire.

I'm in Brazil, offshore and my car is at Coreys shop. He has lots of the parts in already, and the block should be ready very early Feb. He is starting on the fuel system and rear suspension components when it is all in and handy.

My axles from DSS and the suspension parts are there already...

I would love to meet up when I get my car back... San Marcos, New Braunfels, or you can trip with me to a Friday night event in San Antonio...

Stay in touch, and as I get information from Corey via e-mail, I'll update this thread..

And Bro, that is one Bas AZZ Mustang you were driving... good looking and dang fast...

According to the parents, it didn't even move the 'tough' needle, but it red-lined the 'stupid' gauge

Here's to immaturity and bad judgement (in small doses)

But, as we all know there is much less tolerance in the stupid gauge than there is in the tough gauge...

Tough, either you are or you aren't...a yard dart in the shoulder is tough...

Stupid, there are degrees of this and it's a really fine line between genius and utter stupidity...a yard dart in the shoulder is ... well, I'll let you decide...

In this case I do also, since you got the sympathy, the cool factor, the care and attention, and your siblings probably got their butts tore up...
