Installed mine without the alluminum pieces. Just got longer bolts to replace the stock ones that come on the vent itself and drilled into drip tray and it's flush ad snug.

So you can't drive without the drip tray, because the extractor will blow out.

For the Aluminum straps just measure and cut them to the desired length. I just held mine up to the hood and extractor. I marked where to cut it and where to drill the holes.

As for bolts. I used the stock bolts but I did not use the factory rain tray. "Eddiefuzz" popped out the stock bolts and bought toilet bolts from the hardware store if you want to use the stock rain tray and be able to remove it. . He said the head of those bolts fit nicely into the slots of the extractor. As long as you can get the bolt head into the stock bolt opening you should be good. I would use 1/4 inch if possible just my opinion.

I haven't had time to take pics.
So when you get time, really would like to see pictures of how you did yours! Still waiting on wife's permission to pull the trigger on this, but soon!! LOL

Probably the same one that the ZL1 uses. I bought one after installing my TL1 insert. The 2012 up Camaros have the provisions to install one.

If anyone has a picture of the 2014 SS deflector on the radiator top I can verify if its the same or not.

You can swap hoods but the Cowl lines do not meet up perfectly to the front fascia from what I remember reading. User on C5 Nutro has added the 14 hood but he went to a ZL1 fascia also....

So it sounds like the complete package is the hood vent, the rain tray, and the radiator "deflector"?

PM MaureenM@rodgerschevrolet and ask her, she should be able to help you out.

Update: I just found this picture of a 2014 Camaro SS another member posted and from that I can tell the water deflector on the radiator is the same as the ZL1 one I put on my car. I bought mine from Maureen.
Here is the part number and what GM Calls it
