I came across Golden Shine detail products marketed by Complete Car Cover. The products look to come in the same package as Adams and very similar in color. See the April 2011 Car & Driver Magazine. What gives??

Well, yeah, but these companies can't afford to make their own bottle as well. So they buy the bottles in bulk. Get a bottle and a label maker and you can package anything you want.

Glass cleaner is different color and I'm not sure what the "premium wax" would be in comparison to the Adam's line. Adam's premium wax is Americana which is a paste. I don't think they are the same.

No. They're not the first, and they won't be the last that attempt to follow our line closely to piggy back on it. They even started calling thru our dealer listing soliciting them to carry the product - a number of our dealers tried the samples and said it didn't stand up to our stuff.

Their tire dressing was similar to our old VRT, their cleaner wasn't as concentrated as our APC, etc.

Don't believe me? Feel free to pick some up and try them side by side... I'm confident enough in our line to say ours will clearly be superior.

Also note the bottles (not that it makes that big of a difference as there are thousands of plastics companies that make/sell bottles) ours are a taller more slender design with a neck at the top versus their short squat bottles.

What I was referring to is the Premium Wax in your first picture. There is no Adam's equivalent product for that, unless you want to say it's MSW- which is grey, not tan.

You get what you pay for. Adam's is the best there is. Don't buy the knockoffs.

Thank you for the responces. Even if the products are equal, and it appears at least some are not, I'd purchase Adams because of the known top end customer service and their support of this forum. My third order will go in next week.

I'm not saying they're the same, but they are trying to be a "knock off" I was just posting the paste to show that they have one of those also. I have no intentions of buying their product.
