We sold and delivered ours about 2 hours after it got back to the lot for list price. I couldn't believe how many people were waiting at the dealership to see it when I got there with it. The first guy that wanted it had to go home and make some calls to make sure he was getting a good deal by the time he got back the other guy had already taken delivery. This event was put on by the North Texas Chevy Dealers and it was a huge success......

So like I've seen mentioned in previous posts. We've all pre-ordered cars and now someone walks on the lot and buys one ahead of us! Damn! I gotta be honest, I'm kinda pissed to see this post especially since I'm still waiting on my IOM and I have no word as to when it will arrive. Why did I pre-order back on October 15th then. I guess I'm just a DUMB A$$.

Again, some of the best FREE advertising GM will get is US driving around town in our new Camaros. I know someone's gonna reply and say stop whining or be patient, but I'm getting tired of waiting and getting no real info from my dealer. Oh well, can't do much but keep waiting since I already put 2K down.

WTF??!! I was at my dealer today (largest in the state and within about 200 miles) and I ordered my car 179 days ago. He said it would be two weeks before my order would be accepted into the production system, due to allocation. Then up to four weeks to build. Plus two weeks to deliver. So I ordered mine six months ago, and will have to wait two more months, cash in hand, before I can get mine yet some guy off the street just walks in with his check book and walks out with the keys!!!! I'm trying to be patient but this just makes it really, really hard to keep my cool.. Pissed is a gross understatement!

GM, quite effing around with this and get me my car!

People are going to wonder if they own one of these cars. Hopefully Chevrolet has documented the VIN numbers of the cars that participated. I really dont understand GM strategy at all with this car, im just hoping for the best I preordered early this year and who knows when my car will be here.
