Soldered wire connections to LED's, installed into sidemarker housings, and resealed the housings. Just need to paint now!

Oh btw for those looking to test the bulb bases when doing the DIY sidemarkers... the bulb in your trunk is the same size! I just pulled it out and plugged in the base to test the LEDs!

i bought the 6000k gof lights and they are whiter than the HID. i believe the best match is 5000k. unless you want whiter foglights

Finally got to do her first oil change. Fresh Penzoil 5w-30 Synthetic Blend and Fram filter (was going to use Wix but the filter Cap Wrench wouldn't fit it.

Man... was that oil filthy! And after only 4,000 miles. Do they put used oil in these cars from the factory?

You do know Fram is one of the worst filters you can use (WIX being one of the best), don't you? And with PP so cheap, why did you choose a blend? Just curious.

Well, as I said, I intended to use Wix but couldn't get a cap wrench to fit it. Next change I'll get a better filter but I've never had a problem with Fram.

GM recommends using a syn-blend, page 11-12 of the manual. And Pennzoil is on their approved list.
