This is a true racing transmission....

Built by RSG, (Rockland Standard Gear)

SFI rated steel bell housing, mid plate, and fully enclosed tail shaft housing... As mentioned before, with the internal shifter components, there will not be any torque or flex pressures applied to the shifting mechanism...

With the Corvette triple cone synchros and upgraded blockers, 9310 Gears and Shafts... It ought to be ready to turn and burn...

I can't stand up right now...

Adjustable as far as ride height? I thought you did the FE4/5 sway bars?

EDIT: Ok. That was Tag

Right now I'm running the stock ones. I'm waiting for BMR to come out with their new race LCAs until I decide whether to go with 10" or 11" width on the back.

Here is a thread for you to look at:
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=208818

I wish I had kept links to all the threads I read about LCAs and wheel fitment. But, I know I read that the current BMR LCAs for racing have worse fitment for 16" wheels than the stock LCAs do.

I got an email from BMR and they told me they are working on new LCAs for smaller wheels like in the thread I posted above.

I'm just saying that if I was going with 17" wheels, I'd go with the Bogarts from PTS. He guarantees they work with the Brembos and the stock LCAs without modification. I believe they are 17x10, but the dang thread has been locked so I can't get at the info and pics right now.

I beleive it is based on the 56... and it has a different gear ratio in it than does the stock 6060... I'll be able to stretch 1st gear out more than tihrty feet off the line.... If you watch a video of the Black Pig running the 8.99, you'll see him shift it seems almost right off the line....

Turbo's love a load, so lets load em and let em work...

I was wondering about the gearing. Good it gets to wind up some before shifting. I like it.

Basically the way the ZL1 does the sway bars. Instead of an end link on a ball joint hooked to a tab, the bar goes all the way around the strut to the end of the LCA and the end link goes straight down to the LCA. No tab, no ball joint.

My wonder was if BMR was doing their new LCAs compatible with that or not.

I'll try and find some pics.

The stock SS has the sway bar stop before the strut and hook to that LCA tab. The ZL1 sway bars go out and around the strut to the end and connect straight down to the LCA base. MUCH better design.

PQ,

how will this be affected by my getting modified LCA's,... I would think the hardware attachment points would be the same and allow for me to still install the Pedders stuff without hassle... Maybe I'm wrong...

PETTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeee...???

I think the only hang up may be the curve of the bar and where the inside of the wheel end up in relation to each other with the FE4/5 set up
