Well I got good news everyone! The dealership returned my phone call and they scheduled a day for my car to be repaired. Awesome customer service! The guy said he didn't care if the body shop guy did it or not. He said it would be fully repainted back to new with no charge ! :-).

ive taken my plate off twice already which was put on with double sided tape both times and not even a scratch.

Moot point now...but looks like the shop guy did it trying to scrape the double sided tape off. Then the guy has the nerve to want to charge you $500.00 to fix his F'up ?

That's not how I read it. It looks like he saw the bracket and tape and there was no tape stuck to the tape, so it was obviously scraped before the tape was put on.

That is correct. It was scraped before the bracket was installed. Regardless its going to be fixed by the dealer with no out of pocket expense.
