2010 camaro ss possible duramax trade help guys!!!
Ok so i have a 2010 camaro ss ls3 m6 6500 miles mint condition few tasteful mods love the car. Anyway sometimes it stinks riding without my daughter so was thinking of maybe getting a truck. Local guy has a fully built 2006 duramax socal built motor, big dipper built trans ect he has done everything right 800 rwhp safe lowered wheels suspesion fuel upgrades everything is done and low miles. Can do a trade and some cash on my side. So wondering if the truck is gonna fill my hp fix when i drive it. Yes its a ton of hp but its not a sports car. Plus i would add 6k on my loan. And i wonder even if its built right it has more of a chance of screwing up over my practically new camaro. Looking for advice from my fellow camaro bros. Do i keep my camaro ss or trade it plus cash for the built duramax.

There's not too many vehicles on the street that can come out of the hole quicker then a 600-800whp diesel truck doing a 20psi 4wd boosted launch. Its almost electric like because you're sitting still at the line spooled up making peak torque just waiting for the light to go green.

Yes it's 4x4. Just wondering more about all over driving. I don't race or drag just love crazy hp. I'm sure I'd miss the 6 speed manual but 800 rwhp might just make up for it. I'm just wondering if it will be reliable long term as I would keep it in place if the Camaro. The Camaro is just fun to drive handles great , great interior, looks. Just wondering if the duramax has the fun factor like the Camaro. And I would have to ad 6k on my loan and I only owe 11k right now on my Camaro. I drive the Camaro like a toy and the duramax would be the same. I guess asking more of a what would u do scenario. I've never seem such a nice duramax and a unique opportunity has risen it won't happen again so want to make the right decision.

My car has 6500 miles its a 2010 ss rs 2ss his is a 2006 with 90k with 12k on entire drive train. My car and 6k cash and he will do the trade. Just not sure the truck has a ton of money into it. My car is basically brand new and adding 6k to my loan is alot, but the truck is so nasty!!!

Take it out for a spirited test drive on the same roads you drive your Camaro and see how you feel and how it handles the test drive.

Yea thats a good idea. Also im comsidering logevity of realiability with the duramax its built to take the hp everything done right but wondering how 960hp at the crank will last. The ls3 will last forever the way i have it.

Diesels usually last a long time but that's in stock form. Considering he's done supporting mods, it shouldn't break anytime soon, especially if its only gonna be a weekend driver. And forget HP, you'll absolutely love the torque on that monster especially with 4x4. I say go for it! That truck is worth way more than your car and 6k, I mean a stock LBZ with those miles is worth about the same as your car! 90k is barely break in miles for a diesel!
