Hopefully not true, as the SS was something I would be seriously looking at in another 2-3 years. Adding magentic ride was the clincher for me (manual not of concern with the quality of the auto).

Yeah, I like her way more than I ever thought that I would.

I'm sad to see the car only live for two short years but this also makes the vehicle super collectible and something different in a sea of sameness. Not to mention the sweetness of super sleeper status. She flies well off the radar for cops & civic owners wanting to race.

It sweet getting on the gas, other drivers are like "is that a Chevy Mali..... damn!"

I get what you're saying here. November 26 will make 10 years and 96,000 miles that I've daily driven my 04 GTO. The predecessor of the G8 and Chevy SS. I rarely see another and only the enlightened know what it is. It blends into traffic but is fun as hell with a V8 and 6-speed. It proven itself as a real value and I'll run it another four years

That will never happen as Impala is a completely different platform from the Holden. Not to mention one is designed and tested FWD while the Holden is RWD. The replacement vehicle for the Holden Commodore is the FWD Opel Insignia (Buick Regal).

2015 MY is the last year, they are in production now. It has MRC & rear 4 piston Brembos standard to match the fronts and will come with an available 6 speed manual gearbox option.

Get them while you can, like 96-97 Impala SS, SSR, GTO & G8 they'll be gone before too long.
