Uneven track tire wear and brake pad advice

Its probably my fault for not getting proper track alignment but as you can see i have all my wear on the outside tire on all tires. Advice are these tires toast ? they look to me to still have great mid and inside grip. How should I set up my alignment if this is happening? i do daily drive also on the horrible roads of atlanta

My brakes feel like there are a bit of slight grinding.. wonder if its time to replace the pads or upgrade them? what is good for both track and regular driving

thanks guys

Do the track alignment. You still have plenty of tread on the outside shoulder.

You'll need to inspect your brake pads before we can make recommendations.

Pull the pads out and inspect them. Yes.

I'm willing to bet your OEM pads are still in good shape. Also, the OEM pad is probably your best bet for all around general and track use.

Yes, definitely need wheel off, and will be much easier if you punch the retaining pins out and slip the pads out of the top to see what shape the material is in.

And yes, track alignment spec in the supplement to start with. You can keep the track alignment for the street use, but if you're doing a ton of miles on the hwy it's gonna wear the insides of the tire more (maybe a good thing to even them back out )

Those tires have PLENTY of life left, you've done 1 event right? Your tires and pads won't be 'toast' after just 1 event, even with superman driving.

Ive had Dealer align regular pulling to the right , and they just straightened it out , also Butler tires did an alignment with steering wheel change. None asked about track camber .So it was just straight

Ive been to Road Atlanta twice, and Carolina Motorsports park,,, Atlanta Motorsports Park *AMP is coming up August 26th and than Barber

the roads in Atlanta are sloped left /also Right concave and very choppy

appreciate the advice I bet my times would of been better if my tires were gripping more!!!

The difference between my as delivered camber and the track alignment is one and a half degrees, you will not have that great a difference in wear from the stock settings. Keep the track alignment as your standard setting.

See (my) alignment specs other posts to compare.

Run the track alignment all the time. Tire wear is much more even with a mix of track and daily driving.
