Oracle Afterburners: Opinions needed

So I'm getting the Oracle Afterburners put on sometime next week hopefully. I'm kinda torn between which ones to get: the LED's or the CC Flourescent Lamp.

I think they both look great, but I would appreciate some feedback from people who have either seen it in person, or have them.

Thanks all!

That's funny... I went through the same dilema two weeks ago. In the end I went with the LED's. I installed them on my buddies car last week and I will have mine just about finished tonight. I will post pics when they are done. Are you doing the job your self? If so, I did a supplimental write up to go with the instructions that AAC provides. Here is the link:

Let me know if you have any questions. You won't regret doing these. The look so much better in person than just looking at a photo.

i"m a CCFL fan just cause I don't like the fact you can see the led's , and CCFL is just a solid light

I agree with the look. I felt the same way. I was actually talked out of them by someone at AAC because of longevity. The person told me they were not as robust and had a life expectancy so I changed it to the LED's at the last minute. Either way they both look great, but I see where you are coming from.

Does anyone have a pic of the LED's up close?
I too rather like the look of a solid light. But i'd like to see it up close to see how much gap you can see in between the leds

From a few feet away you really don't see the LED's anyway. They are so bright they kind of merge together. I'll post some pics tonight. I'm sure there are plenty on here that you can see in the meantime.

From a few feet away.

This is what others will see from a distance. See how they blend together. I was worried about the same thing.

That's kind of the way I look at it now. If I'm going to pay $200 for some LED's and spend 5 hours doing the install... I want them to be seen.

My tails are tinted pretty dark and they show up great. It took me like 15 minutes to cut each tail open, 5 minutes to set it, and let it dry overnight. and another 30 minutes to wire it up. Not a hard mod to do.

It wasnt the cutting that was that bad, it was the clean up to get them to look like this that took a while. Maybe you took a different route than me for thinitial cut, but mine needed clean up once I separated them.
