I'd like to do some road racing and auto crossing, where do I go to get the numbers for my door panels, what are they made of, are they reusable, how do I pick a design number and color.. any info will help. Thx.

You could have a sign shop make you magnetic numbers on a background too. Those flexible stick-on kind like they use for advertising to stick on your fridge. So two things about that, one you're car has to be spotless before attaching, and if you do high speed autox you want to make sure the edges are beveled. High speed like > 60 MPH on a track.

The clubs I have looked into for autox have a list of numbers to pick and when you join, you can pick what's available and it's yours. If you do random events then go with the blue tape like Steiger says.

Reusable. I will dig up the site I got it from a little later....if you are interested. I did the tape thing for a while, but it leaves glue marks - especially on a bright car. Can be washed off, but I prefer the clean look of a sign.

Bra used for track days only. Still got a couple of chips on the hood. Would have a lot more if I didn't have the bra.

Thats my son...wish I was that young again.
