1st to 2nd gear shifting question
Quick question does anyone else's 2012 Camaro that's a V6 manual transmission shift differently from first to second then any other gear, It's like There is a hesitation between first and second gear shift but I can rip through any other gear is anyone else having a problem or is it just a Camaro thing. I tried everything you can think of different ways shifting at diffenert rpm's I was varying every kind of aspect and whatever I try there has to be a pause me first and second gear

Hello Niko,
That hesitation between first and second gear on your V6 Camaro sounds a bit strange. If you are concerned, you should probably get the vehicle to a GM dealership for an official diagnosis. We're here to help with that. Feel free to private message me if you want an appointment scheduled and case opened. I look forward to hearing from you. William R. Chevrolet Customer Care

Thank you for the reply. I am going to contact the dealership I bought it from because of the warranty.

Do a search. 1-2 shift is less smooth than all other gears. Very much a known issue.
Make sure the trans if fully warmed before ripping through the gears. A good 20 minutes of driving, usually. Take it to the dealer as recommended.
