Magnaflow catback too quiet

I got the magnaflow comp 3" catback a couple weeks ago on my '14 1LE, it sounds good.......i think but damn is it quiet. I've been wondering about high flow cats, or would a different axleback/muffler delete get me the DB's im looking for. I dont want to do headers......or spend another 1500 on it and still not be happy with the sound. Suggestions? Definetly not tuning this car until it's off warranty.

Highflow cat's will absolutely wake it up, and you will get some performance gains out of them as well, feel free to pm me with any questions.

You must listen to master, young grasshopper. Exhaust starts at the front. Headers first, NO CATBACK!
But I digress. High flow cats will help. But beware, what you create now could be unbearable when/if you add headers. And you'll be spending money to quiet it down.

You my friend will have to choose between a warrantee and a great running and sounding car . Your going to end up with long tubes and a tune sooner or later ,just do it now and enjoy the power and sound . SP long tubes with HF cats are under $700.00 delivered and it is so easy a monkey can install them in 2 hours or less. Don't fight it ,you will enjoy your 1LE so much more with the long tubes HF cats and tune.

I would think of doing an axle back with a Solo. I just did that yeasterday, and it sounds great. No drone, and I really have to listen hard to hear the AFM kick in. When I listen to the radio at normal volume, I do not hear it kick in. I have an automatic.

If I had found this website before I did the magnaflow i probably would've just done HF cats and left everything else stock for now, can't believe how quiet these things are stock, I had a 2010 Sierra with a 6.2L cut out the factory muffler and resonator welded in a flowmaster 50 series and loved the sound

The Magnaflow 3" comp series catback sounds killer with a set of headers. It really is the best option. Also, you don't have to spend a fortune on them. Like GONIF said, you can get the Stainless Power headers for a very affordable price and we have other options as well.

Feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions.

Best regards,

Tyler

Like was said previously, start in the front and work your way back. You get sound and performance first. Meaning headers and hi flow cats.
