Well took the car to the body shop. Over 400 dents and a cracked windshield. Wednesday the insurance adjuster looks at it and into the body shop it goes. Should be good as new in 2 weeks.

Yikes! Mine wasn't that bad in the storm a while back that gave us baseball hail, but they said I had 100 dents in the hood alone. The good thing is, they got EVERYTHING out with PDR, so there was no painting whatsoever. That may not be exactly the case with yours, but trust me these guys know what they're doing. Just take it somewhere you know will do a good job and you'll have it back good as new! I was shocked at how good it was when I got it back.

On another note, I think I escaped without any damage this time around, though I'm not sure how. My dealer definitely got hit, and we watched it come down from the shop. I was so afraid, but somehow I think I made it! Lots of cars on our lot weren't so lucky though. We had busted back windows and sunroofs galore. And none of that is cheap to fix.

Thanks everyone and yeah I was at work when it happened, what sucks the most is that I watched the hail just beat on my car :( yeah a lot of people are telling me that they don't think that it can be fixed! So many dents in creases and from what I hear those can't be fixed but I'm praying for the best.

Creases can be fixed, but that will certainly involve paint. So it will depend on whether your insurance thinks a new paint job is cheaper than what the car is worth. I have a dent in my fender right on the wheel well crease that I'm dreading getting fixed... Most of the dents on yours can probably be PDRed, and windshields are pretty cheap, so I think they'll have to make the call based on how much will have to get painted.

PDR guys charge by the panel( according to how many dents are in it and how bad). So insurance figures up how much per panel and labor and then makes a decision on whether to replace the panel or PDR it. Either way its gonna be repainted. Youll get a new roof and hood, maybe new trunk,PDR the fender and other affected areas, new windshield, and a shiny new paint job on affected pieces. The good news is that cars that are less then a year old, they have to use OEM pieces, so no cheap tong yang hood and roof from china for you.

You for sure know more than me about the insurance side. I just fix them! (not body work but you know...)

Yeah cause there's dent along each side of my car so I'm pretty much sure the whole car will have to be painted once it's all said and done. It sucks cause my car is BARELY 5 months old! The pictures don't do justice at all, everyone that sees it in person says its really bad and it is.
