Is there any reason to run one of these steam release kits.

If your racing the car for long periods of time the help keep the coolant temp about 10 degrees lower. Otherwise they are not necessary. We use a similar kit on the K&N series LS engines.

Can buy a $30 oem rear steam vent and a few bucks in hose and do it cheap if you want. Some factory trucks had the rears vented.
