The gov really needs to do something about this type of crap. If there is a safety defect in your vehicle that can potentially kill someone it needs to be mandated by the law to be fixed asap and not left up to the manufacturer to get around to it when they feel like it.

The gov. get around to it when they are done making me buy poisonous lightbulbs, a toilet that won't flush, and shower heads that trickle on "full blast" (which they won't get to until after they export all jobs and tax all of our energy to prevent a fairy tale doom of the planet).
