ha, gm has been here since september 16 1908,
its shiny its blue, and its beautiful.
GM is no longer the leading car seller for the world.
its officially second to Toyota

I can get to 5 chevy dealerships from me in 45 mins. I am afraid the one I deal with may get shut down. I hope not. Anyway to find out which ones it is?

They are talking about all lines, Hummer, GMC, Chevy, pontiac, saturn, Cadillac etc.. I am sure some Chevy stores will be on the list, but likely the less popular will be the first to go. I know Hummer is def on the block to be completely discontinued as early as 2011.

I'll shit a brick if my Dealership gets closed....I wonder if other local Chevrolet Dealerships will honor the orders? I'm sure they will but we'll probably get shifted to the end of the line......FAWK!! Calm down, we don't know anything yet.....

Don't worry, I heard it's only the dealers offering the Camaro at MSRP or less that are on the chopping block.

MOst will be the Pontiac, Buick, GMC variety... and I was told maybe a few Chevy's that are down on their luck and owe GMAC....

Don't really see how they can do that without being sued or paying compensation they don't have. Individual state franchise laws still apply. Unless this is just a prelude to Chap. 11 on June 1 or some sort of special thing backed by the treasury.

Obviously selling Saturn/Saab/Hummer helps clear out dealers without cost to GM.
