On the stock tires? Just enough the clean the shit off of them.
Others have posted that they hook better with more heat in them, though that wasn't my experience.

Thanks for the tip. I will be running again this Wednesday. I need to beat a 12.4 to be the fastest car in my car club.

Just so u know from my expierence the longer I heat them the better they hook ill be going back to the track this Wednesday already went back last Friday but only got 2 runs in

I did a 12 second burn out in 1st gear then I let the clutch go and let them spin till they hooked

I ran this un corrected

On stock tire going back to try to get a 11.7 at 122 this was on a 10 minute cool down but I have my tune to have the fans running after ignition so 10 minutes it gets a lot of heat out

Additional mod was 2.4 upper and heat exchanger
I think I need headers to get this boost out

Nice run. I actually got a 12.46 @117mph. I had one run where I let off 3/4 down the track and still hit a 12.5 @109 mph. I was bracket racing and I still broke out slammed on the breaks.

Hey man i think those are awesome runs considering a 1.9x 60ft times...if you put a tire on it and got it down to the 1.6x range you'd be running like 11.20's...thats amazing too me considering you havent really done much to the car...I wish i could get my car down the track somewhat consistently! I need practice practice practice! Nice runs man
