This makes me so ansty! I was #2 at my dealer (#1 originally the expletives) and the first guy's car is VIN 1944 I think. I'm next I'm next.. dance dance.. oh wait.. how many dealers besides Vegas and the Avis dealer have gotten 2? I'm way too old to want to cry over a car! Oh yeah.. my point being.. have many dealers gotten more than 1 car besides what I said above?

Hey I have a question...

Does anyone here know how long it takes from the day you get the word saying "Your car was built! Here's your VIN #...." to the day it arrives at the dealer?

I got word this past Monday that mine was built... then I saw it pop up on the Google map... do you think I'll get it by the end of the month? Or is it gonna be sitting in a parking lot in Canada for a couple weeks before it's transported?

Hey Bro, you can do what I did...

I got the call saying that my car has been built.

I looked at the Google map posted in the forums here with marks where all the cars are going to be sent. Find your dealer on the map and look for the little blue marker with "Black 2SS with 6-SPEED MANUAL transmission" and your dealer's name. Your VIN is posted along with it.

I still have searchs running for 1LS auto, 1LT auto, 2LT auto, 1LS manual.

Adding the colors and options has become too difficult if not impossible. I'll try again over the weekend.

EDIT: Most scans for VINs are finished for today. Found 1 additional VIN for a 1LS auto - 2G1FA1EV6A9102694 going to Quebec.

Hey guys, maybe one of you can help me. My 2SS was on the line this week as per GM Customer Service in Canada, my order number is NFGFRX. She said as of Wed. it was about half way down the line. She was going to get back to me with my status code and or VIN but it is a holiday today so I doubt that I will hear back. Can someone look it up using my order number to see whether it has a VIN yet.

It would be greatly appreciated!

According to member Oshawan http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...0&postcount=51 production was down two days last week because they ran out of steering pumps and VINs in the body shop are at 5250 as of 4/10/09.

Thanks Heinz for the info, this anticipation is killin me. I would call my dealer but my salesperson is away until the 17th on vacation. The nerve Maybe when one of our dealership members gets on they can look it up for me.

And the other two members known to this forum for a long time have made no mention of being shut down except today (holiday) and have confirmed the ramp up into the range of 220-240 cars a day. Three weeks of production at an average of 200 day= 3000 cars. 250 day= 3750 300 DAY=4500 350 day = 5250....Once again I am not going to speculated on the number of cars....the way I see it is you are showing just under 3000 and we have heard from many trusted sources that the ramp up is going very well and was in the 220-240 day range. And a report of a friend of a friend that works on the line does not hold much water with me.....Thanks guys for the updates on vin #'s I can only imagine the frustration with the system when it was not functioning. Many Many Gratis for all the hard work. It is really appreciated......
