looks great I'm doing it without the bezels completely. I'm still working on getting it done, might be a little while before I get pics to show what I have planned.

How did you have the bezels supported with out the center piece in? The side bezels screw into the center piece, along with it being held by clips, but it seemed that being screwed to that centerpiece is what kept it held in solidly.

It just holds itself in place the with the clips and the z28 grille holds them in place just fine without any problems I had thought of taking them out but you'll have holes in the bumper so I just had them painted

so is the wickerbill just screwed into the wing with no nuts.also will the wing chew up the paint more than it already does because it is pushing down more. when i swapped my wing to the z/28 the panit was chipped to hell under the wing and the z/28 is 1/4 inch shorter so i had to use touch up paint on the leading edge.

Concerning the grille, you have to buy the Heritage Grille, in black, part # 22965834, but it does not come with a Flowtie. You can make your own Flowtie like I did originally, or find the genuine article, which I finally did

What is the grille part number that was posted way back earlier in the thread? I just want the black Z28 grille, this one is almost $100 cheaper.

F-Grille-GM (23197349)

I'm not sure anyone made good with that part #. The diagram shown in that post #111 may be the early Z/28 grille, which changed into the Flowtie during Z/28 development. Early Z/28's were shown with the regular gold Bowtie. as shown in that diagram.

I got mine here:
http://www.shopchevyparts.com/exteri...-92280800.html

Same price as I paid in June of last year $297

This IS the grille minus the Flowtie, but even that can be found

Just wanted to update this, I ordered the above part number from Rodgers Chevrolet and it just came in today. Looks to be the same as the more expensive one that everyone is buying.
