well i would think the TR6060 wouldn't have a problem handling the power bc wthe GT500, the ZO6, the Viper, and i believe even the ZR1 ALL use the TR6060. ALL of them produce substantially more power than the SS. As far as the 6L80e, If its as strong as the 4L80e, we shouldnt have any problem with that either. In stock form they can handle north of 700 ft\lb's. The ONLY thing im worried about breaking is the diff or the halfshafts.

Also, Keisler can take the tremec tranny's and get them to HOLD 600+ hp.

Has anyone considered checking the G8 forums? We might get a better idea by checking some of their performance applications since its on the Zeta.

I woke up this morning and just through of that lol. I'm more worried about having to replace that bad ass independent rear axle then the tranny which since its used in the corvette and all I don't think I will have a problem. Do you happen to have any links to any good G8 forums??

I know that one of the people there who was the first to put a TVS 1900 on their car has had no problems with the tranny for a while (I think it was installed in May) and they're pushing about 470 RWHP.

Yes its the whole body. Exactly the same. Its not unusual if you think about it the trans am had the same exact F body. In this day and age it will be the G8 and the camaro that share the body. I'm going to a pontiac dealership on tuesday to test drive a G8 and ask a dealer about the rear axle.
