sounds like a good plan.

i am thinking of developing an intake myself, and finding an off the shelf supercharger, and getting a shop to help put it all together. should be straight forward as far as the bolt together part, should be able to adapt the knowledge in the centrifugal SC data to get a tune started.

we'll see!!??!!??

Yeah, "not enough interest and not enough demand".....LOL. Ask Tracy at RX Performance Products.

Really!

Ask Maggie how many they have to sell a month to make it viable. The lfx is going in a lot of gm models. Camaro and cts alone are big markets.

So how about it fellow V6 owners? I see Magnuson will be at the fest. Any interest in developing an "RFP"? I'm really excited that Tracey and IFP and HPS and others are doing this, but wouldn't it be awesome to have Magnuson behind us?

Yes! I like the idea of a bunch of v6ers going to talk to them to hopefully make them realize there is huge demand

If I could be there, I so would. Hopefully enough FI'd V6 Camaros will show up this year to make a few of these larger companies take notice that V6 owners are not only interested but actually buying FI kits for there Camaros.

I agree a roots type blower would be seriously cool. Not gonna lie, if it was available it would be going on my car.

That said I'm definitely looking forward to the Vortec V3 based RX kit that's going on my car here shortly.

Totally convinced to buy a supercharger after today! Just saw a cts-v run at the local track and the whine on it was insane! It sounded amazing going down the 1/4 mile. I really hope we can get a roots kit cuz if not, tracy will have my money soon.

still going to cost over $3k for the SC with the snout and bypass valve.

god knows what it will cost to get the intake made?!?!?!?

Well if 3K for the SC and another 2K for everything else, you might be good since that's what the superchargers are going for anyway..... I'd buy a whipple in a heartbeat!

i also heard from another builder (unnamed) who may be willing to help me put and offer these kits.

it would be great if tracy was up for it, except they are so far away. we'll see.
