I got the discount on my purchase 01/04/2010. USAA has an arrangement with GM for the discount. The dealership gets the money from GM. It sounds like your salesman does not know what he is talking about. Ask him to check into it; your other option is to use the USAA Car Buying Service (free) which will direct you to a No Hassle dealership near you that will walk you right through the transaction. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I got my discount just based off the account number. You get an email certificate, that should be good enough for the dealer!

I went to USAA.com to join. Be aware that they do ask for your SSN and other info.

I got an account number confirmation as well as and email once I signed up. I gave a copy of the email to the dealer and the rebate went through. My dealer was not even aware that this discount existed. It comes up on their screen though.

You can call the bank and request a card or......

Log into usaa.com in the search type in "membership card". Click on USAA Membership Card. Then send me an additional card.

If you dealership is still giving you problems please call us. Good luck!

I already have a membership card... From the previous message I thought there might be some sort of printable "$750 off" certificate like you get with the credit union discount.

I only needed to show my membership card and they made a copy... I guess it helped that the insurance policy I provided them with was through USAA as well....

Again, the dealer only needs something showing YOUR NAME, and YOUR ACCOUNT number for GM audit purposes....just to prove you have a USAA membership. A screen print of your accounts page is just fine.

You can request a card, but it may take 4-6 weeks per USAA

The dealer is looking at the wrong discount. The one with the cert is if you had a total loss on a GM car and had USAA insurance. The $750 you wont need any docs except the membership card.
