As much as I like that hood, I still want my car to look like an SS. there are some guys who have modified the fascia crease to line up with the SS cowl lines... So I'm gonna go that route.

Hey guys, I just moved to JAX and was wondering if anyone needs stock parts. I have an air box and filter, cam, pushrods, valve springs, valve covers, crank pulley, shifter, stock length belts, and a w/w bottle. All of the parts have 7600 miles on them.

Is anyone planning on going to the Camaros for Heroes next week end? I know that the spymaster will be there.

Summer is finally here for me...and after my headers I'm dying to really test them out...is there a test n tune night coming up anywhere? And does anyone want to come with me? Oh, and just to go ahead and admit it...I know nothing about being out on a drag strip. So any and all advice welcome!

Gainesville has Test N Tune on Wednesday nights. All you need is a helmet. They are required under 14 secs. Unless you're being easy on the car you should be faster than that. The tech guys know these cars are faster so they will ask if you have one. Snell SA2005 or newer is required. If you don't have one I would suggest getting a SA2010 as the 2005 won't be good much longer.

Valdosta usually has Test N Tune on Friday nights. They are not as stringent with the rule book as Gainesville and usually seem to have the track prepped better (My opinion only). They do have a test session scheduled for Saturday night on June 23rd.

I have to take off to go on Wednesday or Friday, but Saturday night 6/23 at SGMP sounds like a good idea to me.

Here is a link to a pdf that will clue you in on drag racing do's and dont's.

I would love to do the 23rd but it's my buddy's bachelor party that weekend. I'll read up on the rules and look into a helmet, you just let me know when you want to/can take off.
