just because the issue is not immediately reproduceable doesn't mean they shouldn't look at it

this isn't a "software bug" in the traditional sense as it applies. it's a nearly two ton projectile that you drive and deserves more attention, you should have pushed back

Abdullah, I was able to hear back from Superior Chevrolet and some internal resources that I contacted regarding your RPM concerns. Your RPMs reducing slowly when revved in Neutral is an emissions requirement to reduce hydrocarbon from quick closing. This is normal operation of the vehicle and cannot be changed. Regarding the MyLink concerns, the dealership was unable to duplicate what you were experiencing. I know you've been speaking with someone on our Infotainment team regarding your MyLink, so in that regard, please refer back to them with any questions. Otherwise, is there anything further I can do to assist you with your Camaro at this time? ^GG

This is what I got

Makes sense. It's crazy just how little control we actually have over these new cars.

Glad I'm not the only one that has had this happen to them. Yesterday was for sure at least the second time this has happened. I put the car in park after driving home from work. (tour mode) give it a quick tap because the neighbor kids were looking; the engine revs and just stayed for at least 5 seconds before I just shut the engine down. The first time it caught my attention i just finished driving from Cali to AZ, pretty much non-stop, pulled into a BWW parking lot gave it a quick tap and it just hung there at around 2000 rpms until i shut the engine off 15 seconds later. My ZL1 never hung like this. Looks like its time to go to the dealer.

Don't waste your time they are going tell you it's normal and or we can not do anything unless it happens while we have it.

I would say this is a huge issue and should be pursued, especially if it caused the car to move in at least two of the instances posted here.

I'm lost with the last part of this sentence. One of the previous post I made was from GM themselves saying this was normal. They did tell me to bring my car back to run a different calibration code on the car. I took it in got it done! At the moment haven't driven the car in a few days not sure if it worked or not.
