I like them because they have a nut on the end which makes it easy to get off and to set a proper tension

Wix are always known for quality. K&N is one of the better one's too, but not quite up to a Wixs filter, which is cheaper to boot.

I change my oil every 3000 miles. Even if you use "Joe blow's oil" the filter you use really does not matter. If you wanna spend that kind of money on a filter knock yourself out. I have been using Royal Purple oil since 1999 and have never had any issues, its the best with a Puroilator filter. Spend your extra money on a good oil not on a expensive filter. And as far as the filter goes it fits it fits more then the Camaro V8 so the "good find" comments crack me up.

Which cross references to a Mobil 1 M1-113 oil filter.

BTW -- I facepalm to those saying that an oil filter doesn't matter. Yeah, you are running high-end synthetic oil but you don't mind the sandpaper effect on your internal parts from not trapping the particles? Oh, and a cheap filter has a bad flow rate which will reduce the amount of the synthetic oil that gets to your engine components.

FWIW -- Research the flow rate and filtering efficiency of your favorite filter. K&N has a good flow rate but fails on the filtering.
