This is only my opinion....but there is also some truth to it. The oil recommended for you car is to meet certain EPA standards for fuel economy and other clean air gobbiltygook. Your engine was not designed around a certain oil. Granted, there is lots of technical hodge podge supporting this n that in the way certain oil acts under certain conditions. This is where our OP is at. He has a highly modified engine that operates in extreme heat. In this case, a 50-60 wt oil is most likely what is needed.

go with what the MOTOR needs, not your mods. your mods should compliment your motor.



this is a very powerful insignia to manufacturers. yours may vary in Dubai. oil "weight" is influenced by several charateristics. most engines are designed with a oil preselected before the hardparts are ever constructed. albeit, your dealership could still be right. but things like oil valleys and pump must have been altered.
