imperial blue paint shows imperfections easily?
how is the imperial blue paint for those who have ibm. does it scratch easy when washed

The IBM is a great color but it will show alot of imperfections and since it is a shade lighter than black you can expect it to stay dirty alot.

I have wash my car 3 times, clay bar once, and waxed. I have not seen any scratches yet. The paint job on my Camaro is as close to perfect as you can get... without wetsanding.

I love the color and the paint job. I've washed it twice, detailed it several times, and California duster it obsessively. No scratches or swirl marks. I LOVE THIS COLOR!

Can't be worse than mine. :(
But I would do it all over again. I've yet to see an IBM Camaro. But I think any car that is a dark color will scratch easy. (Or show easy)

Camaro23 - IBM scratches no more easily than any of the other colors. Just expect to take extra care when you wash and detail it - no swirlies or el cheapo applicators/towels.
This is a color that looks ho-hum on Impalas and Malibus but screams "I AM BEAUTIFUL!" on the curves of the Camaro. PM me your location in Indiana. I travel there often and could perhaps head your direction sometime so you could see my car in person. |

any camaro paint scratches easily, any color, thanks to the new water based paint system. I miss my chemicals.
