No better way to spend 4 days than with a 1000 other Camaros. We had a blast, loved the venue, think Indy is a great place to have a meet. Sure, there were some issues, but they were minor, and come one, it's only the 3rd year and a different venue each year. That is expected.

I think they are on the right direction by picking one or maybe two spots and having it there every year. If one location is chosen, it has to be in the central part of the country, and what better place than Indy.

A lot of great vendors and hope more can commit to coming in the future.

we had a Blast. Let's face it, we owned that town for three days, LOL. The atmosphere at the Host Hotel was awesome.

Never got bored cause we planned what we wanted to do and made sure we needed to be where we needed to be to get it done. Even did a grand tour of the Indy Track and Museum which I would suggest for anyone if you have not seen it up close.

I like the idea of keeping it in the center of the country so it's fair for east and west coast people. I really enjoyed talking with people from both coasts and getting different perspectives on things.

Personally, I think the local enforcement officers and Indiana troopers and the Hotel were all very cooperative to our festivities.

And on a last and most important note, I am very grateful that from what I have heard so far, everyone was respectful of each other and each others cars. That is so important for events like this to grow bigger and bigger each year !

My turn!

I LOVED IT!

If I may...

I've been here on Camaro5 since a few months after this site was created. I've made some friends...a LOT of friends from this place and d@mnit if they aren't all in San Antonio. They are all over the country! The group of us only get one chance a year to get together and really have a good time....enjoying each others company. I wouldn't miss this for the WORLD.

Friendships that have been made are lifelong...

Even though there were a lot of stressors I had to think about, it was better than last year. Dana and I are getting better with the store. We had AWESOME help all weekend long from our dedicated friends (too many people to thank!). We finally got the cruise back together (even though it wasn't what we had expected it to be). We had a TON of vendors show and the majority of them all said they had a great time and would do it again.

Sure...it was a lot of work to put together. Joe, Mike, Chris, Mike L, Pete, Guillermo, Norm, shoot...the list goes on and on... And a lot of us never really got to play. But...it all about YOU GUYS. ALL OF YOU. We just want everyone to have the best time they can have. We, just like y'all, want nothing more than for everything to run smoothly. We had some kinks, but hey...all those things can be ironed out a bit more for the next Fest. Again, we just want all you guys and gals to have a good time!

Saw you a couple times and never got the chance to run over. Next year!

Oh yeah....we already have a TON of plans set in motion for next year. We found what worked and what didn't work. We also found ways to improve on things so people don't have to constantly ask, "where's the car show registration?, etc etc etc"

Just pulling up a chair in the parking lot and having a nice conversation with other like minded enthusiasts is simply the best. Not many events do you get over 1000 cars of the same Make/Model and Generation.

What it is not, is an event run by huge promoters and people with lots of experience putting this sort of thing together. But then 99% of the folks attending are not professional racers or car show people either... Both of these facts can make for some unique bumps in the road... I don't know how it all works, but it just does.

We had a discussion about how friendly everyone was and how easy it is to just say hi and strike up a conversation, because we all have a common interest and were all there just to have fun. Even if something didn't go perfect it pretty much got a pass with the understanding that it would improve as the fest matures.

The sponsors may or may not have made a killing at the event, but I'm quite sure they had a good time too and will benefit as folks go home and purchase new products. Do remember the guys who support your event...

And last but not least, thanks to the mods who work this thing all year long...
We all do have a common interest in Camaros..that's why we all met up at Cfest 3. Great way to spend with 1k true riders. People will always find things wrong with an even for whatever reasons. Some are social other's shy.

Reading most of the comments on this thread seems majority had a blast and that's what it's all about the ride to get their and expierencing and sharing your stories with eachother.

Would you prefer it to rain? that'll damper..the entire event. People will always knit pick something at these events main thing sorry to hear people stayed away from your ride any reasons why?

I have one thing I get to do each year. Only one. Our business doesn't allow for much more.

I could do a lot of things but I choose to do C5F and don't regret any one them. This one was every bit as good as the first two. Even better because I didn't have to leave so early and neither did Bonnie.

Can't wait for Birmingham fest next year. Great choice BTW. Real close to home for me. Should be a blast.

Birmingham fest ? Is there an underlying message here? My wife and i had a wonderful time meeting as many people as we could in the 3 day span. August is august no two ways about it, but hoping we dial it back to april again.

I think being amongst all the passionate camaro fans tops the list. What a party! Looking forward to attending again next year! Can't wait to see you all back out there.

I had a great time at this years fest. There was nothing not to like.
But just like Valdosta, I enjoyed caravaning with the mid-atlantic group the best.
Hope I can do it again next year.

Tim at T & T in Frederick Maryland, he is also one of the sponsors on camaro 5 forums. I just brought my car over yesterday for him to get started. He has already worked on like 5 or 6 ZL1's and countless V6
and V8's over the past few years.

My 1st Fest, where do I begin. This was by far and above the best and most understaffed event I had ever attended! Not once did I see or even hear of a Police presence to break up an argument. Thought everyone was on good behavior considering speed and alcohol was involved. That combo get get out of hand in a heartbeat on any givin Saturday nite. Okay I did hear of a couple of speeding tickets, but you'll have that as every Mustang and Challenger wanted a race at every corner it seemed. The staff needs to be given gold medals on all the planning that goes into something this big. The vendors were great too, can't beleive more don't show up. I know they lighten my wallet load. Lucas Oil Raceway did an outstanding job with the track considering the weather-heat&rain. My compaints are that we didn't know which gate to go in and missed the goodie bag the first day. Totally a failure on my part. Would have liked to see a placard to put in the vehicles instead of the neck lanyard nobody was wearing them. Also no flashers during the cruise that was a disaster waiting to happen as it disenables our brake light except for the 3rd one. All in all most of this is minor and I can't wait for the next one!! Almost and I say almost hope there isn't a 6th Gen Camaro because then what will happen to Camaro5fest? Sorry for the long read.

It was a blast, I really enjoyed everything about the fest! I had a long trip to make, but in the end it was worth every minute! I really enjoyed meeting people and putting a face to a screen name. I cant wait for next year!
