Anyone know a good place to get windows tinted around the south suburbs of Chicago? Also how dark did you all in Illinois go?

Yeah I have a place out by me. Went with 35% lifetime warranty I am out southwest in Oswego

No tint is legal on the front windows in Illinois.

you can get them tinted with no problem if you have a doctors note

the tint laws have changed

no full tint on windshield, upper strip only. all side and rear windows can be 35%, but if rear windows are more than 35%, then the front/side windows can only be 50%

the doctors note doesnt work anymore either. If I remember correctly, the only type of doctors note that works is if the condition cannot be fixed by sunglasses.. i.e. skin condition, not eye condition

When and where can I read this?

As far as I know, the front side windows CAN'T be tinted in IL.

I just checked TINT laws.com and IL still says NO TINT on front side windows. The rear sides and rear can be painted black if you want.

Last year I had my Acura tinted, and the law was NO TINT allowed on front side windows.

According to this posting and the IL Gov website tint in now legal in IL.

Jack Olsen The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same. Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different. I can't wait for my next Track fix.
