EVAP and FUEL "Not Ready" Status

I have emissions test coming due soon and Im pretty sure she wont pass with 2 not ready status. How can I get the FUEL and EVAP to show ready?

I have a JR Tune with about 160 miles since the install. I am trying to use the GM drive cycle method, but it seems almost impossible to complete without a long stretch of open road with no traffic. Any tips on completing drive cycles?

After my JRE tune I failed inspection for O2 and Evaporate not ready. Literally just drove 250 miles and about 8 start ups over 3 days then all passed. Various driving situations such as highway, streets and traffic. Longest drive was about an hour and change.

I couldn't get evap to complete with drive cycles. Needed to do about 6 days of city driving before it finished.

For evap to pass on most GM's the tank needs to be between 1/4 & 3/4 with some warm engine idle time after a long cruise. Sometimes you can see it test the evap on a wb at a stoplight. You may hear a clunk in the trunk as the valve for the tank side opens & closes. HTH.

Thanks for the info about the evap. I always keep the tank just about full, so I will let it run down to try and get the evap to ready.

It may take up to 6 drive cycles, with up to 17 hours between drive cycles, for the inspection/maintenance system status indicator to transition to YES. Must be a cold start with fuel level between 1/4 and 3/4.
