I dont see it complaining... we are only showing our concern because we care for these cars.... GM does too... but why have them sit this long idk... I just wish all the bugs and stuff got worked out before production started then everyone would be happy at this point... I feel as if GM rushed this project sort of... :/

I think this thread should be closed. It is no longer productive. We will hear something when GM has an update. Until then this is just non-sense. You folks that are going crazy need to go find a hobby for a month. Posting on here every night about hoping for this or that and being upset about this or that provides no value to this thread.

Please read my posts before u comment. I have said multiple times I think GM is doing the right thing fixing the problem I wouldn't want to receive it only to have to take it back to dealership.

I don't think GM rushed it as much as WE demanded they start to rush!
The car is 40% new and new suppliers and parts they never used before.

I am trying to stay out of these threads, they are just the same nonsense over and over.

Yea, the weather was 70 and sunny here today. I sold my Z06 last November. I want a car to drive too, but it has to go through a process.

I worked for a high tech company, we had deadlines and missed them, we had quality targets and still had bugs. I ran an entire team that all we did was fix bugs and hardware errors. I don't think the designers wanted us to have to do that and tested everything they could think of.

I'll go back to lurking mode now.

Just curious,but what other 'seller' takes orders/money on such a large # of widgets that are NOT READY/QC'D for delivery? I guess this is business as usual in the 'NEW MODEL AUTOMOBILE WORLD'? Honestly don't know-probably why I bought a 2010 SS and let Ted 'juice it'. Hope it all works out for all those waiting. Just wondering,did other brands have similar delays of a new model release? Not bashing,but it seems like a very POOR way to build confidence in a brand/product. Just my .02

If this is true I would rather have the car. I do not like the idea that my car is sitting outside exposed to the elements in an industrial area. My cars live in the garage out of the sun and not exposed to the elements or weather. I would think that with the proper instruction a skilled tech at the dealer could fix the "issue". Why does everybody underestimate the dealers service? Two or three days at the dealer beats two months exposed in Oshawa. I have a little trouble believing that anybody is happy with their car sitting on a lot.

I guess time will tell but I hope what I heard today is incorrect. I just can't understand why it is that GM does not give the dealers and their customers an update even if it is a few weeks or months until the cars will be delivered and how many will be made for 2012 and where their slotted to go.
