Who has this amp running their factory speakers? I will be installing, but I don't know where to set my gains to avoid blowing the speakers. Any help/suggestions will be helpful. Thanks in advance.

You should never set your gains blind. After connecting the amp, set your crossovers and filter switches as I pm'd you. Keep you gain turned all the way to zero.

Turn your head unit volume up to close to max - then slowly starting turning your gain control clockwise to where its loud but not distorting/clipping. Then turn it down just a notch from there. Do the same for your sub gain.

As I pm'd you, however, you will want to change out those factory speakers soon for something more compatible with the RMS output of your new amp.

hey guys

sorry to resurrect an old thread but Ive just installed this exact same amp and I would love for you to share those settings for the crossover and filter switches.

Ive installed this using the fark and my reverse chimes arent coming on. Im not sure if its my settings (i havent touched them at all yet) or maybe I didn't ground the wire properly :S

also thanks in advance for the gain and sub tips!
