Took my ZL1 to the Texas SCCA Solo Event #4 Today (pics included)(video to come)

Never racing at any road courses or autocross events, I was a nerve-wracking blend of anxiousness and excitement toward my first autocross race. I was worried about getting lost in the maze of cones or letting the ZL1 name down.

The experienced drivers really worked to help out the novices. They gave a walk through of the course giving tips and later let us ride with them during their runs.

After completing my 5 runs I had determined that never again will my ZL1 go 2 months without going to a road course or autocross event. If you haven't taken yours around a track yet, you are missing out.

I was grouped in the novice class as a novice super stock car. Compared to the non-novice super stock class (which was composed of 6 Corvettes and a Porsche GT3) I would have come in 4th of 8. I was told this wasn't bad considering I was a novice running on stock tires (many of the cars were running a much softer compound). Also, I completed all 5 runs without spinning out or hitting a cone.

I've included some pictures below and I will have a video up in the next day or so.
