Brother locked keys in car
Has anyone unlocked there car with a hanger? obv if not I will call a locksmith.

Do not use a hanger!!!! You will end up tearing up the sealer. No ON-Star??

Call Onstar and start your subscription back up, have them unlock your door. You can cancel next month, and it's probably cheaper than a locksmith who could possibly damage something.

Was not planning on the hanger anyways the door handle is at the bottom of the door, really dont want to renew Onstar, but If i had it I could unlock it with my Iphone

You should probably have AAA, or Onstar, or even the GM Protection Plan. Any of those would fix your problem

You can get Onstar on a month to month plan for under $20 for the basic plan. Have them unlock the doors and cancel. Also if I'm not mistaken the iPhone app works with Onstar so it doesn't work unless you already have Onstar.

Ive had Onstar when i got the car. You get a free 6 months so the app worked. Spare is not on me

The app works after the subscription ends. I am still able to lock and unlock my doors with the cellphone App.

Call Onstar, tell them you are strapped for cash right now, or your wallet is locked in the car. Tell them that you are thinking about renewing as soon as you can get the extra cash. They might throw you a freebie to keep up costumer relations....

Onstar will pay for itself the first time you lock your keys in for sure. Like they said onstar app on your phone and you can unlock it from there. Well worth the monthly fees. Hope you got in without doing any damage.
