Are they legit? What is the difference between these and the Apex besides $220?

Those LEDs have maybe 2 dozen actual LEDs in them. The Apex ones have like 200 ish. The Apex ones also come with a warranty, a show mode, instructions, rapid-brake pulse, and they don't look half bad either.

The eBay taillights have no warranty, no instructions, "sequential LEDs" - which I will believe when I see.

the apex ones are on backorder. so even if u did get it and had an issue u might be waiting the same time frame to get a replacement.

I got these. They light up as one taillight then the other. The only thing I dont like is the hyperflash which I'm looking to fix. I got the black ones though.

They are a very hot item right now so we are operating on a waiting list. No money is exchanged until we reach your name and have a set in hand and ready to ship. While there were some condensation issues early on, warranty claims on new production units are quite few and far between at this point. If you were to have a warranty issue you would get taken care of as soon as possible, you wouldn't have to wait for a whole new set. If you were to have an issue with a set of Chinese lights you got off eBay, good luck.

One of our locals just got their set installed this past weekend.
