Question about direct injection?

Just curious I suppose, but I am wondering about how direct injection on an engine would effect mods like larger MAF, injectors, fuel pumps, intakes, air intakes, forced induction etc...

I doubt the new Gen V engine will be in the Camaro right away but I'm sure it will go into the car in 2014-15.

anytime you feed an engine more fuel and air and get it timed correctly it is going to produce power. Look at common rail diesels and you will see it held true with them so DI is just the gasoline counter part.
