Who is eligible for the GM Military Discount?

People eligible for the GM Military Discount include active duty members and Reserves of:

U.S. Air Force
Army
Navy
Marines
National Guard
Coast Guard

at this time we have no offers for veterans I hope this answers your question and from me personally thank you for your service

The Military discount is the same as Supplier pricing, its offered on a dealer by dealer basis and is up to each dealer to accept those deals. My dealership would be honered to accept any Military orders as well. I thank each of you for your service!

gm is not apart of military auto sales, thats why they offer the military discount, there are a lot of rules that the military has attached to doing the auto sales. Montrose

yea but not like what you get threw military auto sales there is a whole bunch of things auto makers have to meet on the contract that they normaly don't do at any dealer, the discount is always on threw military auto sales and it's not up to any dealer since you are not buying it from them it's a whole different process and you never have to worry if the dealer will honor a discount since the us military has a contract with the company, but sadly gm does not sale threw military auto sales. It would be Nice if the Military Discount did include Retiree's from the Armed Forces. I did 21 years, 7 months, and 16 days and when I purchased my 1987 Camaro RS I was not given a Military Discount. By the way I still have that car also and she runs GREAT. I will also drive her down to the dealership with a friend to pick up My New Camaro 2LT/RS. I drive the New one home and the friend drives the 1987 home for me.

I completely agree. Your service is just as important as that of those of us currently serving. We should write GM about this.

GM does participate in the overseas car purchase program.
I have used it personally.
Contact your nearest overseas AAFES dealer for details.
