What Cold Air Intake Filter are my fellow 2 SS Vert owners using?

Airraid. Install instructions on you tube. Sounds great. I really don't know if it increased the HP, but the sound alone was worth the purchase.

K&N - came w my typhoon! Lol!

I've heard my buddys CAI and my KnN and honestly, I like my sound better- deeper and louder. I've also got the polished tube which I think looks much better than his CAI black, but id assume CAI have polished as well.

PS- that's the 1st yellow vert I've seen in ur avatar, looks really really good!

C.A.I., well, it's sitting in a box in my garage for now until the car shows up.

CAI, sounds great and added a nice bump in performance. Also, easy to install and I think it looks the best.

I have a CAI also. I honestly didn't notice any change, but that could be just because I installed my exhaust a few days early so I wasn't use to that either, or maybe I'm just ignorant to the slight changes it made, but I do love having it, and it looks awesome too.

CAI. I've been to a few car shows with the CAI, and they definitely catch attention! I think it is the best looking one out there. That's why I have them on both camaros.

I agree ... I didn't notice a huge change either with the CAI other than sound. Then again, these cars are so new that they're still breaking in and we as drivers are still getting used to them. I think it'd be a different story if we had the car for a yr THEN put the CAI on... keep in mind, these GM intakes weren't nearly as restrictive as older models, so it's not as dramatic a chang as years ago.

I went with the Rotofab and AFE Filter. It seemed to have the most consistent HP gains across most models, and best overall performance in Hot Rod's tests 2 years ago with the LS3.

I don't know what that is, sorry! I just quickly looked up some topics on it but I'm still not sure. What does that mean?

Resetting the computer to clear the low octane fuel.table, in case anyone ran low octane had in an SS. I did it, helped my MPG significantly, but didn't notice any power difference. PQ has a lengthy thread with diagrams.
