Yep thats about it. And with issues surrounding richmond 4:10's hard to get a shop to warrenty it.

On the brighter side so much more quite. The lack of noise is like the original 3:45's

Man if I didn't have to pay property taxes next month I would soooo pull the trigger on a complete diff :(

We're going into winter... I can't imagine having much more fun with 3.91s vs 3.45s in the rain/snow... Taxes it is! Gears can wait until spring.

Haha, yea I hear ya! Mine will be stored in another month so by the time these 3.91's become available I'll be waiting till spring too!

Wow if you had to install all the 1le parts it would be very expensive .I guess the 1le package for 3500 msrp and 3050 dealer cost is a steel!

The magnaflow exhaust was a 3 inch system, so I went down to the stock zl1 quad exhaust and added the zl1 differential cooler and all the the lines. The zl1 exhaust is a 2 1/2 inch system. We wired in the cut outs and installed the x pipe. I'm very happy with this set up but I had to change out the rear craddle to make this all happen.

so dont want to read thru all this but, what the cost on le1 axels and hubs? is that all thats need to upgrade the axels?

Will the 3.91 gears work on the auto? I have a 2010.
