There are a lot of members around here with the HeatShield. They are custom cut for the car. Shoot me a PM or give us a call if you have any questions.

I have the heatshield, bought from Apex. Works great. Definitely recommend it to protect your dash and keep your car cool during those hot days!

The heatshield looks pretty good, could someone tell me how easy it is to install and fold, also I'm guessing that it doesn't have any hard edges that would scratch the plastic.

I have one of those too. Looks great and fits snug behind the tiny sun visors.

The edges have a cloth piece around it I believe. You just roll it up and it has a velcro strap you wrap around it, throw it in the backseat/trunk and go on your way.

HeatShield is the one I have as well...didn't buy it from Apex though :(
Definitely a worthy investment, keeps the car I'd say at least 20 degrees cooler, fits perfectly.

Like the concept, but unfortunantly I would have to remove the radar detector which is mounted to the right of the rear view mirror in order to use on of those. I need something a little more flexible so it can wrap around obsticals attached to the windshield.
Also, dont really want to reflect additional heat out onto that mounted gear. Jut want to block the rays from entering with no reflection. |

I use the E-Z Twist Sunshade. Works really well. It's two shades, one slides into the back of the other. All you do is pull it out to the size of the windshield and put both driver and passenger visors down. It fits perfectly in my Camaro. I've never used HeatShield, but I do like the convenience of the EZ Twist. Folds into a small, flat circle, about 4 inches and takes up no space when stored in the trunk. **I'd post pics of it in, but it's too dark to snap any right now. |
