Oshawa members: Inside!! & look at pics

To our members who live in Oshawa; have any of you driven by the plant lately?
It appears the ship lot is across the street (Stevenson Road South) from the plant.
It would be great if you guys could drive over there and see if there are any Camaros in that lot. I gotta believe there should be quite a few in there.
The lot is bordered by Stevenson Road South to the east and Wentworth Street West to the north.
Thornton Road South and Phillip Murray Ave. would be OK vantage points.
But it looks like Skae Dr, where it makes the 90 degree bend, would be the best vantage point to see them loading the cars.

So get over there and bring your cameras!!

And here's some aerial shots for fun:

Maybe.
But if GM, it's partners, and the dealers were willing to give better info, we wouldn't have to go to this level.

If the cars aren't shipping due to a quality hold, let the customers know what the issue is, and when they anticipate they will ship. And provide some rough ETAs.
If it's the May 6th launch deal, then let customers know that. Better yet, ship the sold orders and hold the dealer cars for that.

I'm a little surprised GM didn't put together some sort of tracking website so customers could accurately follow their cars. Given the anticipation of this model, it would have been a great PR tool for GM and would have scored them HUGE points in the customer service ratings.

Well, that doesn't sound good. Doesn't inspire confidence, certainly.

wow, do you really feel this way? There has been so much more information about this car available to consumers than any other made!

GM has to be careful about when/what information is released. I'm just as anxious, even obsessive, about getting my car but I'm happy with the info I have, imho.

Not about the whole overall process, just what's going on now.
Customers with sold orders deserve the truth.
These people are begging, borrowing, or stealing other people's vehicles because they sold their car or turned their lease car in or whatever expecting to have their Camaro by now.
GM owes them an explanation.

Did you see the guy taking a crap in the lower left of the 3rd picture?

This satellite stalking stuff is really getting out of hand.

Glad that wasn't me dropping a deuce.

You can't base any assumptions off of satellite images. Those images are not updated in real time (obviously) so what you are looking at could be weeks or months old.
