D1SC hitting the inner fender
Installing my D1SC and the head unit is barely hitting the fender. I wanted to see if any of you had the same experience and what your course of action was.

Mine hit, when I placed the car in reverse. Had to bend the fender a little.

I have stock motor mounts, so it would only touch in reverse.

from what I've read in the past the D1s hit. Not sure what the fix was though.

this is normal happens on majority of the kits. we actually have to notch the inner fender when installing F1 series blowers.

Hey Jack, word on the street is that a rag and a BFH will fix that problem. Lol

Same issue with a p1sc-1 kit on a 2010 ls3. I just bent the inner fender lip like MANNYS2SS/RS, but maybe I was abit more radical on the bending. The vibration it caused when it hit the fender (at about 1,000 rpm) drove me nuts to the point of having to bend it.
