I can make another one in about 20 seconds. It does look very nice, but just to pint the hood/front end with that design would be about 8 grand, but probably a lot more if Mike does it.

Best advice is hit a few car shows/swap meets/club events in your area. When you see a flame job to the quality you like, talk to the owner. They're always anxious to share with you who did the paint, and many times are carrying the paint shops business card. Good Luck.

I think the Camaro would look great with realistic flames, but not hot rod flames.

Couple things:
The way they have vinyl setups these days you can probably get a flame job done in that setup without even having to potentially mess up your paint and it would help protect any rock chips because it would just cover the paint. If one day you decided instead of white flames you wanted silver you take the old off and put on the new. Ghost Racing Flame Stripes...I know its a mouthful but instead of having solid race stripes, get them done in a ghost flame-usually a pearlescent setup is done...on Red Jewel Tint coat...OMW!!! That'd be HOT! |

Since I did a total repaint at the time I got my flames, I can't really be much help on the pricing. My advice to you is....do your homework. Go to car shows and see what looks good on cars that will have the same body lines as yours will. I got the idea for my flames from a old truck so I had to tweak the design a bit to make them look good on my Z28. As already stated, flames are very tricky to get done right and when it comes to trick stuff like that...YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Don't cheap out on them if you want a nice product. Be careful in your decision though because I have to be very cautious when I drive so I don't get rock chips in my flames. It's a double-edged sword to have a bad ass car that you can't romp on out on the country roads because of the possibility of f-ing up your paint. My Z is in my sig...PM me if you'd like to see more pics.
Good luck with your journey! Took me about 2 years to figure out what to do and it seemed to change all the time right up to the point where they taped them out on the car.
