More Interior Options

I am just curious to if anyone agrees. I love the way the Camaro looks inside and I really like the Interior Trim Package (Red, Yellow, Orange) however i think the seats are the most gaudy cheep looking things ever. There is just way to much orange there and it makes the car just look cheap. Now that SEMA is here and I look at BLACK and Dale Jr.'s car this is the exact thing I would love to see and I think it would be the best interior accent for seats and everything This level of detail and look just says "CLASS" with the suede and leather and everything with accent stitching. Is it me or would anyone else like to see this type of seating option as default or an upgrade cost?

i REALLY like the camaro Black interior, but i wouldn't pay extra for it and i wouldn't expect it to be the same price.

I wonder how much it would cost if you got the cloth and took it somewhere and had them make the interior like this?

my dealer told me if i went with the 1SS they had a company on speed dial that could re-upholster the entire thing w/ leather for $1200. i'm sure the suede/leather would be a little more, but not much

That isn't a bad price at all. I just this it is tacky all that orange. I am hoping to not get the interior accent package and look for the colored door and dash panels and the ambiant lighting aftermarket and do something else with the seats.

i think the shiny black trim should be an option, but as for the seats. . . . they're nice but so are the regular leather ones.

The cars at SEMA are show cars, but not so practical. That suede would not hold up well. The seat nap would get cruched flat and you definitely wouldn't want to get it wet. I'll take the standard leather.

I would pay for either of the "black" or "dale" package....funny how GM has no problem coming out with special edition packages for the Corvette.....but can't do it for the Camaro???

it's the first year out! if you want a special addition, wait for the 2012 camaro. They'll come out with the "Z28" special addition to top the convertible that will be unvailed in 2011.

GM has to ride this right to get the most out of this. One reason camaro was removed from the production line was because of slow sales. if they keep anouncing a new addition every other year, they can keep sales going up for years. Think how many will be trading there camaro's when they see the convertible than trade that in when they see the Z28 the following year, than trade that in for the next year's model of the z 28 convertible, than the z28 special addition the year after that, than the re-entroduction of the IROC Z! let them play their cards at their pace. I think we will enjoy the ride even more.

by the way, these are just my speculations on what GM plans on doing to keep sales going for years to come. Nothing they have said or I have heard.
